Particularly in comparison with other agencies, the vast majority of fees go directly to your caregiver. The remaining funds are used as shown: Griswold Special Care works with hundreds of insurance companies and other third party payors. Check with your long-term care insurance carrier to see if you are covered for non-medical home care. Even if they don't already cover our services we can often negotiate on your behalf.

HOLIDAY PAY is time-and-a-half for Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day. If a caregiver is required to use his/her own car while providing service, please reimburse them at the IRS Mileage rate.
We offer some of the most cost-effective rates in the community. Rates may vary slightly based on skill level, the number of people receiving care, car availability, and financial need. Quoted rates presume weekly payment otherwise billing fees apply. Additional charge if more than one person or driving required for a live-in.
